A couple of 4 x 1's and a few nails have helped me to organize some of my rubber stamps. I used apple cider vinegar and steel wool to create an aged look for the wood.
There are just over 350 stamps on this shelf and I have more stamps that are in storage in Alberta. At last count 10 years ago I had over 1000 stamps but when I moved to Toronto I sold off many of them. If I ever get my collection under one roof I will probably have to build another shelf.
I started teaching rubber stamp workshop over 22 years ago when my children were small. I would call myself a purist because I love the feel and look of wood mounted rubber stamps. Years later, I still have such a love for them and use them frequently.
